Reebok Classics unites with Publish brand.
Reebok Classic teamed up with street wear label Publish Brand for their latest release ‘Dark Desert Project’. If you are familiar with the brand Publish, you already know they seek to blend the realms of art and fashion. They do this with a minimalistic look, yet with contemporary and creative design. This is a great match to Reebok’s timeless design, which shows in their re-work of Furylite and Furylite Chukka silhouettes. Inspiration come from majestic, sandy and tranquil landscapes both before and after a volcanic eruption.
The Furylite symbolise the calm before the storm with it’s cream and white leather upper mixed with a black leather heel and tongue for a refined sleek style.
The chunkier and boot-like Furylite Chukka represents the effects of the volcano “as darkened skies descend and explosive, rising temperatures change the land forever”. In contrast to the Furylite’s peaceful aesthetic, the Chukka got jet black uppers for a stronger fierce look and premium leather details.
The Reebok Classic x Publish ‘Dark Desert Project’ is available from February 4th at select global retailers.
