Vogue and The CFDA have announced the ten designers that will be in the running for the CFDA Vogue Fashion Fund.
In the selection, there are some familiar names such as Stampd and Rochambeau. As we all know, the winner of this competition will be awarded $400,000 USD as well as mentorship. This competition has become a platform for some of today’s biggest designers such as Alexander Wang and Rag and Bone. Past winners of Vogue’s prestigious award have included the likes of Proenza Schouler, Altuzarra and last year’s unprecedented three-way tie between Brother Vellies, Gypsy Sport and Jonathan Simkhai. This award is also the subject of Amazon’s The Fashion Fund, an online series documenting each year’s nominees and the process behind winning the award.
