Introducing the second collaboration with Nikelab x Roundel.
It was three whole years ago since Nike and Roundel first collaborated, and now they are back with a fresh new sneaker collection in time for Fall/ Winter 1026. This time they have created a re-design of the Air Zoom Spiridon shoe.
The collaboration draws inspiration from the Transport for London font. I know, we were slightly confused too. Turns out the font, called Johnston100, FYI, is celebrating its 100 year anniversary. We have seen it all.
The shoe comes in two colourways; white and navy. The upper of the shoes are covered in numbers and letters of the Johnston100 font, with a mini tick at the forefront of the shoe and a larger iridescent tick on the side. Each pair, obviously, features a small embroidered Transport for London logo on the tongue.
Head to Charing Cross station, London, on the 9th November for an exclusive pop-up event which will launch The Nikelab x Roundel Air Zoom Spiridon shoes. If you can’t make that, fret not. A wider release will take place on the 17th November.
If you’re based in the UK- you’re in luck. You can get your hands on a pair of white OR navy shoes. Unfortunately for the rest of the world, the navy colourway is UK exclusive, but the white pair will release globally during early December.
