Places To Shop In London

London is the home of British fashion and is the perfect destination if you are planning on doing some last minute Christmas shopping over the upcoming weeks.

Harrods

Harrods is a world famous department store that stocks high-end men’s and women’s fashion brands, luxury gifts and accessories. Located in Kensington, the store is one of London’s must-visit attraction over the festive period.

Harrods is also one of only a few remaining stores in London that still stocks animal fur, which gives the department store publicity, whether it be for good or bad reasons.

Harrods is home to the vast majority of high-end brands including the likes of Louis Vuitton, Gucci and Valentino to name a few.

Founded back in 1906 by Harry Gordon Selfridges, the department store Selfridges, on Oxford Street, is the company’s flagship shop and is the second largest in the UK behind Harrods.

Located on Oxford Street, the store is an unmissable destination if you are in and around London over the Christmas period.

Like Harrods, Selfridges stocks high-end men’s and women’s fashion brands. This includes the likes of Moncler, MCM, as well as smaller brands such as Kenzo and Sandro.

Liberty is a department store in the West End of London, which stocks luxury men’s, women’s and children’s fashion, cosmetics and fragrances.

The department store stocks brands that concentrate more on formalwear such as Tom Ford and Burberry

Liberty also has their own collection which includes men’s shirts, ties, and accessories.

The British department store, Harvey Nichols, was founded way back in 1831 and sells men’s and women’s fashion, accessories and beauty products.

The company’s flagship store is in Knightsbridge.

Harvey Nichols stocks high-end brands such as Balmain and Balenciaga as well as streetwear brands such as Adidas.

After the opening of Misguided’s first store, Westfield shopping centre is a must-visit over the holiday season. The shopping centre opened back in 2008 and is home to some of the UKs most loved high-street retailers.

Retail giants Topman and River Island both have stores there.

Box Parkboxpark

Boxpark is the world’s first pop-up shopping mall – combining global brands and London-based fashion designers. The area is also renown for its creativity and is ideal for ensuring your look is individual and unique.

The pop-up shops are mostly streetwear brands such as The Brokedown Palace and HYPE.

Covent Gardencovent-pause

Covent Garden is another shopping hotspot. Although notorious for being a tourist attraction, the area is perfect for getting into the Christmas spirit and picking up a few gifts whilst you’re there.

The area is home to brands such as Burberry and All Saints.
