Public School got political.
Given the current political climate in the U.S., it was predicted that NYFW would get political. Creatives behind the New York brand, Dao-Yi Chow and Maxwell Osborne, decided to send a strong political message on the runway. This included redesigned Trump’s infamous ”Make America Great Again” slogan to ”Make America New York” and a sweatshirt that reads ”We Need Leaders” on it. Aside from the political pieces, Public School presented tailored blazers and interesting sportswear-inspired suits. This show marked Public School’s return to NYFW and it is safe to say that they came back with a bang.
