Challenging the idea that most millennials are priced out when it comes to picking up genuine art, Soulland will be opening a pop-up store in Copenhagen coinciding with the city’s annual art week. ‘Got it For Cheap’ will showcase a range of fresh, up and coming artists alongside their more established counterparts.
Speaking of the event, Soulland’s creative director Silas Adler elaborated;
Soulland has been about pushing boundaries and challenging the status quo. We feel that Got It For Cheap does exactly this by democratising art. The thought of having an unknown artist on display, side-by-side with an established artist under the same premises and sold for the exact same price is extremely interesting.
Now for the best part… keeping in line with the ‘got it for cheap’ moniker, all artwork will be priced at 300DKK (around £38) and will be completely original. ‘Got It For Cheap’ will run from September 2-3rd at Gammel Kongevej 41, Copenhagen.
