Adidas Originals and contemporary menswear label wings+horns are working together again for another collection for this F/W season. The Canadian brand has collaborated with sportswear giants to create a capsule full innovative materials, designs and elevated production techniques, inspired by Japanese attention to detail and playing homage to old world tailoring and classic clothing.
With many varying pieces on offer, including apparel, outerwear and brand new footwear silhouettes; this collection is informed by contemporary fashion design. 5 exclusive sophisticated natural toned premium ‘Made In Canada garments will be available, in addition to many re-imagined iconic 3-stripe designs including adidas’ desired Firebird Track top. Completing the memorable apparel section are long sleeves, T-shrts and jersey pieces. Outwear consists of quilted vests, bomber jackets, and coats, bring the collaborative ethos of adidas Originals by wings+horns to its climax.
To accompany this are four brand new footwear silhouettes which incorporate both brands different aesthetics and compliment each-other perfectly. The three stripes’ Superstar Pro Model, is a high-top version of the iconic shell-toe sneaker and will feature an all black waterproof leather upper, with waxed laces and hand-sticked ‘Mon’ branding details. Whilst the NMD R2 and C2 receive two new treatments; the headline piece and silhouette “Campus”, has been given a premium leather make-over with 3D moulded 3-stripes.
The adidas Originals by wings+horns FW17 collection is available online and from select retailers globally from 26th October 2017.
