Unpaid Zara Employees Left Notes For The Public Within The Band’s Products

By November 7, 2017Fashion News

Zara is facing widespread criticism.

The industry giant Zara has come into some serious criticism after the company’s Turkish customers found notes inside the brand’s clothing. The employees of Istanbul’s Bravo Tekstil have taken action against their ex-employers by going into Zara stores and sewing, or leaving notes within the garments up for sale. This was after the workers stated that they were owed a severance allowance and several month’s back wages since the factory they worked at was shut down. The notes found by potential buyers gave messages such as “I made this item you are going to buy, but I didn’t get paid for it” in order to bring the unfair treatment they faced into the public eye.
