Balenciaga are following in Gucci’s footsteps…

From now on they will be showing both men’s and women’s collections on one runway together.

The lines between genders are becoming more obscure as time goes on, and women wearing men’s clothes and vice versa is becoming completely normal, therefore it seems to make total sense to make this transition. Many other brands such as Calvin Klein, Burberry and Kenzo have also taken to having both gender collections shown at the same time.

The first Balenciaga show to be conducted in this way will be in March, FW18 in Paris.
