Pushing the boundaries of the distressed aesthetic.
Vetements and Reebok have recently put their heads together in order to produce a new limited colourway of the Genetically Modified Pump Sneaker that aims to outline Vetements’s stance on the current fashion scene. The shoe sports a contrasting black and white colour palette to show-off the incredible level of detailing that has been pushed into the piece. Specifically, the sneaker incorporates misplaced pieces of Instapump Fury shoes into it’s build, this paired with the heavy distressing around the various areas of the sneaker produces an effect like no other.
However, priced at ₩1,380,000 – which roughly equates to $1,288 – the shoe may not be for everyone. Although, if the price tag doesn’t put you off head down to the 10 Corso Como Seoul locations now to pick up the pair, or if you aren’t local to those retail spaces you can head to ssfshop.com on the 19th of January.
