Autumn/Winter 2018 looks towards tradition and the 1980s for DANIEL w. FLETCHER. Although not all of us remember the 1980s, we get a glimpse into what it was like to be a member of that society. The older wore suits and shirts, the younger and more rebellious were donning loud tracksuits and some slicked back hair.
Art is the backdrop for this collection. Thanks to Fenella Brereton and Abigail Fletcher, along with the designer’s paintings too, the looks speak volumes not only towards fashion but to the cultural influences around it. Fastenings and drawstring hems give the looks that sharp feel, whilst technical fabrics bring in elements of sportswear and the outdoors. Check out the collection below and see what you think:
