After Moncler announced their new Genius initiative the photographer, designer and frontman of Palm Angels, Francesco Ragazzi, took to Instagram to give us a little bit of a taste of the upcoming part he has to play with the Genius offerings.
This collaborative venture is especially meaningful to Ragazzi as the creative pointed out on Instagram that he worked as an intern at Moncler over 10 years ago, so having the opportunity to work in conjunction with them on a collection was something that reinforced his choice to believe in himself. However, with all of this said and done the actual images that have been shared of the collaborative jacket leaves a lot to the imagination as the only thing we know for sure about the piece is that it sports a black glossy quilted textile that wears its branding in red. Whereas on the other hand, the collaborative Suicoke sandals give us a clearer idea of what we can expect. The pair come in a light red and pink colourway and feature the usual Vibram footbed for the utmost comfort, as well as this we see the functional fastening straps with black and white contrasting dual-branding. However, whether you love or hate them you cant know for sure quite yet as the post in which these sandals were shared was captioned “SAMPLE.” so we could see changes being made to the pair before they are released.
