Every year Gucci create a stir before their shows, with a reputation for being the show to never miss and today’s F/W18 show at Milan Fashion Week is no exception.

Kicking off the countdown to the show was an invitation which consisted of a“Parental Advisory, Explicit Content.” branded zip-lock bag containing a timer which counted down the minutes to show. Information on the date, time and venue were also included, confirming the runway show would take place at 3 p.m CET. on Wednesday the 21st February at the brands Milan headquarters the Gucci Hub again. The show will be available to watch online worldwide.

Presenting the #GucciFW18 show space. The concept reflects the work of a designer—the act of cutting, splicing and reconstructing materials and fabrics to create a new personality and identity with them. The materials used are typical of an operating room and the environment around it: PVC on the walls and floors, fire doors with panic-bars, LED lamps, and plastic chairs like those in a waiting room.
