Excitement is building.
BAPE‘s sub-line AAPE by A Bathing Ape has been creeping further and further into people’s clothing, but with the upcoming collaboration with South Korean sporting goods company, FILA, we will likely be seeing AAPE by A Bathing Ape appear in people’s shoe collections too.
Specifically, we see the collaboration take on FILA’s classic Original Tennis silhouette, and while the photos below would suggest we see a light blue upper appear on the pair, this was in fact just the lighting as the model sports a mainly white leather upper that discretely boasts AAPE’s signature camo near the back of the shoe. As well as this we see AAPE by A Bathing Ape’s branding located on the laces and eyelets as well as upon the midsole and top of the heel, furthermore dual branding between the two companies is boasted on the tongue tab so everyone will know exactly how special your sneakers are.
Although no details have been dropped regarding the release date of the AAPE by A Bathing Ape x FILA Original Tennis sneakers, we do know that when they do eventually drop they will come packaged in a special edition box adorned with both the labels’ branding. Take a look at the pair below.
