Kim Jones heads over Dior Homme
Following the news that Kris Van Assche will be leaving Dior Homme after over ten years at the helm, revered English designer Kim Jones has been confirmed as his successor. Jones, formerly of Louis Vuitton menswear, only recently left the iconic Parisian brand in a rapturous final show which saw both Kate and Naomi take to the runway.
In a statement today, Kris Van Assche said:
After eleven years at Dior Homme, my mind and heart filled with experiences, I am leaving this beautiful house to pursue new challenges. I wish to thank Bernard Arnault for the trust he placed in me, Sidney Toledano and Serge Brunschwig for their warm welcome at Dior and their continuous support during all those years of collaboration.
– Kris Van Assche
With his first collection to show in Paris come June, we can’t wait to see what Kim does at the iconic French brand.
