Asics Tiger & Monkey Time Team Up for Revived GEL-MAI Sneaker

ASICSTIGER just released a recent collaboration with Monkey Time featuring a revised version of the popular GEL-MAI sneaker.

With a unique design, the sneaker appears in a faded grey colourway, with monotone suede and mesh materials that are asymmetrically aligned. Reviving a popular running shoe silhouette from the 1990’s, the sneaker features shoelace eyelets that are also placed asymmetrically and can be threaded around the collar, in a pouch-like design to cradle the foot and create a better fitting shoe. The midsole features ASICS’ signature fuzeGEL sponge for improved cushioning and inside the shoe is a collaboration logo made of GEL-MAI’s unique parts, this also appears on the box.
