An unconventional collaboration.
With winter quickly approaching it looks like it’s the perfect time for the two masters of their craft Axel Arigato and CAT to put their heads together for a functional yet fashionable set of collaborative footwear.
Specifically, the two have turned to a chunky sole found deep within CAT’s archives, more precisely from the Intruder model. From here the upper and finishing details were creatively down to Axel Arigato, allowing the label to add “a contemporary twist on the industrial silhouette,” said Max Svärdh, the Creative Director and Co-founder of Axel Arigato.
As for the build of the 3-piece collection, the upper has been crafted from premium Italian leather, suede, and mesh for a sturdy finish. From here the duo turned to hiking cord-style laces and reflective webbing to round the shoes off.
