The young creative that is Jaden Smith has undeniably been making waves in the fashion scene for a while now, hence why it’s exciting to hear that the American actor, rapper, singer and songwriter has unveiled his collaborative collection with the Dutch designer clothing company that is G-STAR RAW.
Specifically, the duo has turned to nature and it’s raw beauty and power for inspiration, creating three distinct colourways each of which sports their own unique aspect of the natural world. The first of which is a black colourway titled ‘Eclipse’ which highlights one of nature’s most dramatic events and is made out of the most sustainable black denim ever developed by G-Star. The second is an ‘Ecru’ colourway which turns to a lighter and more peaceful aesthetic while the last colourway, ‘Blue,’ depicts the power of water and uses the world’s first Cradle to Cradle Certified™ Gold G-Star Denim Fabric, whose chemistry presents 0 risk for people and planet.
