The iconic Japanese streetwear label that is BAPE have had a busy collaborative schedule this year, and it doesn’t look like they are planning on slowing down as they have already confirmed the arrival of yet another project in 2019, but this time with none other than the Californian footwear company, UGG.
As for what we can expect from the partnership, the offerings were actually teased not long ago at BAPE’s “BAPE XXV” exhibition held in Tokyo that celebrated the brand’s 25th anniversary. Specifically, we saw five UGG footwear silhouettes adorned in the company’s iconic suede and shearling materials which have been complimented with BAPES instantly-recognisable camo design and branding. To be more precise, expect this revamp to take place on slides, slip-ons, sneakers, boots, UGG’s winter slippers and even a heavy outwear jacket.
