Featuring retro aesthetics.
Denmark’s very own design collective that is ARKK Copenhagen recently teamed up with none other than Overkill Berlin in order to drop a sneaker that boasts one of the most hard-hitting retro aesthetics we have seen in a while.
Specifically, the pair claim to be a result of the brand’s designers focusing on the sneakers we all saw and grew up with during the ’90s, consequently, brightly coloured Kanetyk combines a retro feeling with the custom Nordic details that have come to define ARKK Copenhagen. Interestingly, the pair have been on the design board for a while, however, after four years in the industry the brand believes now is the time to drop them.
As for what else to expect from the sneakers, a hybrid mesh and suede upper arrives alongside the shoe’s cushioned heel pad, heavy duty hiking laces, as well as the WAVE13 sole unit that we saw introduced by the brand last year. Take a look at the pairs below, if you like what you see then head over to ARKK Copenhagen’s online store to cop them for yourself for the price of €140.
