In normal Virgil Abloh fashion, the Creative Director of Louis Vuitton’s Men’s department and ultimate tastemaker recently opened a pop-up store in Tokyo.
Opening on a new commercial facility in front of the Harajuku Station, Tokyo – more pop-up store spaces are expected to open in New York, Shanghai, Beijing, Miami, London and Moscow. Inspired by the Wizard of Oz and the rainbow runway seen at the Palais Royal in Paris, the spaces are full of colour and feature manikins designed to bring Virgil Abloh’s debut Louis Vuitton SS19 collection to life.
With Virgil Abloh already teasing images on Instagram, the pop-up spaces are open from January 10th 2019, and for a limited time only, you can see the new ready-to-wear pieces from Louis Vuitton. See images of the pop-ups below:
