Yohji Yamamoto’s renowned label, Y-3, recently came out swinging with the unveiling of its latest SS19 offerings that features the lightest GORE-TEX textile that the world has seen so far.
However, as everyone knows, it isn’t just material that makes a piece great, luckily, Yohji is known for developing the structure of a garment and has actually built a reputation for his attention to detail when it comes to cutting and finishing a silhouette, therefore the designer is one of the best that could have been chosen for using the material.
As for what we have seen so far of the SS19 collection, SHAKEDRY™ GORE-TEX® has been used by Y-3 to form a Utility Hoodie Jacket and an oversize Long Coat.
