Converse have collaborated with ChinaTown Market and Joshua Vides for a new and forward thinking take on classic Converse silhouettes.
Serving up the “UNT1TL3D” pack, Chinatown Market’s interation of both the low and high Chuck Taylor models features multi-coloured, UV sensitive canvas upper, giving the sneaker a futuristic transformative aesthetic. While, Joshua Vides interation swaps out the classic Coverse upper for drapes of Velcro, a way of letting the wear tweak and customise the shoes to suit their style with bespoke canvas patches that are available in Pantone hues. Elsewhere, the pack sees a monochrome rework of the Chuck Taylor, with an exaggerated, ridged white rubber midsole, amd contrasting “NOT A CHUCK” illustrations.
The sneakers are expected to be available at ComplexCon on July 20th and 21st, before dropping respectively on July 26th, August 2nd and August 16th. Check out the shoes in the images below:
