Diesel Presents Limited Edition Capsule Collection

By February 26, 2020Fashion News

Launching its upcycling initiative.

Showing that it is committed to fighting the environmental damaged caused by fashion industry practices, Diesel is launching its “Diesel Upcycling For” initiative – a series of collections that are focused on reducing the consumption of raw materials and creating a more sustainable future.

An add-on to the brand’s “For Responsible Living” strategy, Diesel is urging different designers to reinterpret existing materials into new products using upcycling and creative reuse. Collaborating with 55DSL, the iconic denim brand digs into its archives to rework heritage pieces and prototypes for a collection of 5,055 boldly-hued sports-inspired pieces. The first collection of the series, the range sees patchworked prints, hoodies, jackets and flannel shirts – all designed with tie-dye treatments and overlapping logo. Infused with technology, each piece in the collection features a QR code which details how each garment was made when scanned.

Available now, you can shop Diesel’s Upcycling for 55DSL on the brand’s website.
