Still in the works.
According to WWD reports, Chitose Abe’s Jean Paul Gaultier’s Couture line debut has been postponed due to coronavirus impact.
Initially set for July in line with the Paris Fashion Week Couture schedule, Sacai’s Chitose Abe was selected as the first guest designer to take over Jean-Paul Gaultier’s couture line from the retired fashion icon. Tapped to “interpret the codes of the house and give the vision of the haute couture,” due to the coronavirus this year’s couture week is now cancelled and thus postponing the debut which is now set to show in January 2021.
