Fashion Fighting COVID-19.

As the fashion industry continues to step up in the fight against COVID-19, adidas recently unveiled they’ve partnered up with 3D printing company Carbon to produce a range of face shields for healthcare workers.

Utilising the same material the sportswear giant created for their 4D midsoles, the duo are now producing over 18,000 face shields a week to be delivered to healthcare workers across the globe. Taking their charitable efforts to the next level, Carbon has made the print files required to create the shield publicly available for anyone with the printer and required materials to produce their own; while adidas continues to support the WHO, Red Cross among other organisations in China.

This follows news in the past few months that the likes of LVMH, Prada & more have taken similar steps to help those fighting the pandemic.
