Constructed from nylon car airbags.
First teased during KANGHYUK’s “COLLECTION 8” earlier this year, the South Korean label has joined forces with Reebok to unveil a new collaboration in extremely limited quantities. Labelled the “Zig Kinetica”, the sneaker is a continuation of the “Advanced Concepts” project and will be limited to just 50 pairs.
With an upper made from leftover material from KANGHYUK’s ready to wear collection — including industrial polyamide and nylon car airbags — the first colourway arrives a white with red detailing while the second is dressed all in black. Further details include the silhouette’s signature three-part energy-return system, which uses a zig-zag sole unit to return the kinetic energy of every step.
The Reebok x Kanghyuk Zig Kinetica collection will be available in two colourways and will be exclusive to Dover Street Market London, November 13.
