TOMBOGO Creates a Freelancer’s Uniform for Fall 2020

By November 14, 2020Fashion News

Putting practicality first.

For Fall 2020, TOMBOGO has reflected on a turbulent year. Drawing comparisons with 2020 and the life of a freelancer, the brand has focused on the need to adapt and created a range of dynamic workwear garments to reflect this.

Alongside the brand’s lookbook for this latest collection, it has enlisted the services of creatives Audrey Mika, J Rabon, Sicology, Darrick Peartree, Lex Giana, and Anthony Quisay as models. Presenting the challenges that each of these artists has faces during the pandemic.

Highlighting earthy tones throughout the collection, it delves into Americana with its workwear inspirations, collegiate fonts and customisation of New Era’s iconic snapback (the second collaboration between the two labels).

Each of the looks includes a pair of utilitarian trousers with detachable panels and cargo pockets that highlight the need to be dynamic during these times. Other practical details include detachable sleeves on the brands Half-Zip Shirt and a belt bag that straps onto the wearer’s leg allowing them more storage space than pockets can provide.
