PAUSE Picks: 5 Sneaker Releases of the Week

Bringing a heavy dose of retro inspiration, British retailer Browns has linked up with Axel Arigato on an exclusive colourway of their Marathon sneaker. The white and grey upper features hints of khaki, navy blue and teal across various details on the upper.

This colourway is titled “alien blue” and like many of Kanye West’s footwear designs, they look like they have dropped straight out of space. Including a primeknit upper and BOOST cushioning technology, this iteration of the sneaker includes reflective materials.

Can you call clogs sneakers? For the sake of this article you can. Rick Owens has reconnected with German footwear label Birkenstock to recreate their popular Boston sandal in luxurious, smooth-grain leather.

Maison Margiela keeps it coming with the Reebok sneaker collaborations, this time coming through with an all-white variation of the sportswear label’s Instapump Fury sneakers. True to the rest of their collaborations, this pair features the classic Margiela split-toe.

Adding a new colourway to its “Hello, My Name Is” series, this Air Force 1 features a white upper with university red detailing. The embroidery on the heel is a reference to graffiti artists signing their artwork with “HELLO” name tags.
