AVELINO ft. YUNGEN and NOT3S – CONTROL

Tottenham rapper Avelino has unveiled his highly-anticipated 13-track body of work ‘Ego Kills’. If the diverse, wide-ranging release wasn’t enough, the artist has also gifted a hot new single featuring Yungen and Not3s titled ‘Control’. Exhibiting their unique flows over the single, the project in its entirety displays Avelino’s renowned lyrical capabilities and features a plethora of UK industry greats to accompany.

ODEAL – KARMA

South London based artist Odeal has released a self-produced track titled ‘Karma’. Exhibiting his unique flow fusing an amalgamation of cultures over afrobeat sounds and RnB vocals, the single is proof that there are no boundaries when it comes to the artist’s musical dexterity.

ANISE – OBEY

London-based RnB songstress Anise has released her brand new music video titled ‘Obey’. Directed and co-produced by Anise herself, ‘Obey’ touches on the theme of surrender and turning the concept of submission on its head. Originally hailing from New York yet relocating to London in hopes to further hone her artistic craft, Anise heaps praise on both intimacy and freedom throughout the harmonious single.

BRITTANY HOWARD ft. CHILDISH GAMBINO – STAY HIGH

Brittany Howard has tapped Childish Gambino for an eclectic new version of her GRAMMY-winning ‘Stay High’. The single is euphorically amplified by electronic elements and strings that play as a seamless backdrop to Gambino’s oozing soulful vocals. Extracted from ‘Jaime Reimagined’, Brittany Howard’s newly-released album, the body of work also boasts collaborations from Bon Iver, Earth Gang, Michael Kiwanuka and more.

MIDWXST – MADE IT BACK

Midwxst has shared a new single and accompanying music video for ‘Made It Back’. The visual exudes a cinematic feel, inspired by sci-fi thrillers and surrealism. At just the tender age of 18, Midwxst sonically captures all the chaos that comes with being a typical millennial. The genre-defying single seamlessly follows suit from his prior release ‘Ruthless’ taken from his Summer03 EP, unveiled earlier this year.

SAMM HENSHAW – GROW

Following up from his recent single ‘Still Broke’, Samm Henshaw has unleashed his second instalment to his ‘Untidy Soul’ series with a new single and short film entitled ‘Grow’. Directed by Jim Pilling, the captivating visual sees GRAMMY-nominated artist Tiana Major9 act as Henshaw’s love interest as the narrative follows an evolving, budding relationship over time.

BLANCO ft. NSG – SURVEILLANCE

Arriving just in time, amidst the balmy weather, is afro-fusion party anthem ‘Surveillance’ by NSG and Blanco, taken from Blanco’s freshly-announced mixtape ‘City Of God’ due for release early next month. The London-based rapper is seen throughout the Faces-directed visual alongside infectious six-piece collective NSG in what seems to be a beautifully filled mansion party. Gliding among strings and tuneful drums, there’s no doubt that this cut is one for the summer.

ENNY – KEISHA’S AND BRENDA’S

Stirring and powerful, Enny has released a brand-new music video for her single dubbed ‘Keisha’s and Brenda’s’. Self-directed alongside KC Locke, the single touches on the thought-provoking subject during a time “where many industry professionals were beginning to be exposed for indecent behaviour with women”, she adds. Fresh off the back of her refreshing debut EP ‘Under Twenty-Five’, the visionary young artist is undoubtedly one of the most important British voices of our current day – ‘Keisha’s and Brenda’s being a testament.

KHALID – NEW NORMAL

Alongside the announcement of his third album ‘Everything is Changing’, Georga-native Khalid has taken it upon himself to embrace a ‘New Normal’ in his latest single. Speaking on the track, he states: “This one is really special to me. No matter what life throws your way, it’ll only be just a season.” The euphoric song sees the 23-year-old reflect on both personal growth and progress.
