Rolling out the next instalment of their collaborative partnership, American designer Rick Owens’ DRKSHDW label and fellow stateside brand label Converse recently debuted a new interpretation of the footwear giant’s Weapon silhouette for your consideration.
Dubbed the TURBOWPN, the release marks the first collaborative take on the court classic since Converse unveiled a reimagined iteration of the shoe in June. Taking a typically stripped-back yet exuberant approach, Rick’s eyes see the black silhouette sit on a revamped tread with a bulked-up platform-like outsole, a CX foam drop-in interior, premium cowhide leather upper, reinforced toe box and wide lace, and an elongated tongue with stitched detail.
