We are back with another round of new music for you this Friday. We have handpicked some of the best new offerings that you need in your rotation exclusively at PAUSE. A happy weekend to you!

BURNA BOY ft. DON JAZZY – QUESTION

 

Burna Boy’s “Question” is the African giant’s second release of the year following the release of “Kilometre” in April. The BET and Grammy-award-winning artist’s new track is produced by and features Don Jazzy.

JULS ft. NINIOLA – LOVE ME

 

British-Ghanaian producer + DJ Juls has enlisted Niniola for a brand new music video entitled ‘Love Me’. The single was the second from Jul’s forthcoming debut album, due later this year. Brimming with intensity and quality, it resonates with anthemic character.

WSTRN ft. FIREBOY DML – BE MY GUEST

West London trio, WSTRN, have shared their brand new single titled ‘Be My Guest’. As we approach carnival weekend, the collective effortlessly showcases their deeply distinctive, unique sound. The track swanks infectious instrumentation accompanied by strings and melodic bassline, complete with a guest appearance from Lagos’ very own Fireboy DML as the cherry on top.

MIC LOWRY – M.I.C

“M.I.C” is the latest song from British vocal harmony group MiC LOWRY. The four-member group hails from Liverpool and have continuously contributed immensely to contemporary pop, contemporary R&B and soul since their ascension back in 2015.

SHEMZY  – I CAN FEEL IT 

 

East Londoner Shemzy has enlisted renowned producer Jammz for a feel-good, garage-infused RnB/soul single ‘I Can Feel It’. With the coming of a new season, the scorching track is a great way to end the summer of 2021.

KITMA OTUNG – I’M CUTE

‘I’m Cute’ is a fun pop-RnB anthem by Nigerian pop-R&B artist Kima Otung from her upcoming EP, ‘Note To Self’. With a witty use of lyricism that makes a point about women’s empowerment, the song is uplifting at all costs.

K TRAP – PICK ‘N’ MIX

In the wake of his hyped collab with DoRoad, K-Trap continues his unwavering momentum with single ‘Pick’ ‘N’ Mix’ taken from his upcoming Drill-heavy tape, ‘Trapo’. The track, produced by fan favourite M1OnTheBeat, is yet another nod to the genre’s devoted followers and is accompanied by a Romael-directed visual featuring a plethora of familiar faces throughout.

KAYOWA – BESERK

With her exploratory sound, Kayowa has been breaking boundaries since she first emerged in 2020. The rising experimental R&B artist has established her career with her distinctive spoken-word style, explosive energy and introspective attitude, and her latest album ‘Cyberflexx’ presents a glimpse into her mind. She delivers punch kicks and strong vocals on ‘Beserk,’ the lead single from the album, which is a testament to her trajectory so far.

JAMES GILLESPIE – FOOLISH LOVE

 

In the midst of gearing up for a forthcoming US tour and a slew of new releases, James Gillespie can still be found displaying his raspy vocals with his latest drop, ‘Foolish Love.’ James’ triumphant return follows his appearance on Kygo’s hit single ‘Gone are the Days’.
