A new denim blend.
With thousands of gallons of water needed to produce just one pair of jeans, environmentally-conscious label PANGAIA has expanded its apparel offerings by creating a denim line that forefronts sustainability.
The first time Himalayan nettle has been used in selvedge denim, it is blended with organic cotton from India to create the blue denim which is used across the collection. Due to it being created with a left-hand weave, the denim is also soft, breathable and durable.
Designed by PANGAIA’s denim designer, Jonathon Cheung, the collection features both denim jackets and jeans with information on the garment’s creation embroidered in the brand’s signature style. A workwear staple that has been used by miners and labourers since the 1800s, both styles come in a rinse and mid-wash variation.
Check out the collection below, which is available to shop now from the PANGAIA website.
