Celebrating Virgil.
Friend and collaborator of the late revered designer Virgil Abloh, artist Daniel Arsham took to Instagram recently to share shots of his celebratory “Figures of Speech” exhibition in Doha, Qatar.
A retrospective look at some of Virgil’s work over the years, the exhibit in Doha Fire Station showcased over 55 of his pieces across apparel, trainers, accessories and even a custom vehicle “the G-Wagon” featuring all the tropes and expressions of the celebrated designer, stylist and all-round creative genius.
While, unfortunately, it’s due to close today, March 31st, Arsham’s shots among others give us a glimpse at some of the items on show.
