The Perfect Holiday Attire.
Although we’re still shivering from the February cold, HEREU is already looking onto the summer sun and tropical holidays as they unveil their latest Spring/Summer 2023 offering. Channelling the holiday attire that transformed local fashion for the Balearic Islands in their boom during the 60s and 70s, the collection takes those design codes and place it in the contemporary style space.
Staying conscious of the high temperatures, colours are lighter and fabrics are more open to avoid insulation and encourage the seaside breeze. Silhouettes also remain relaxed yet classy thanks to elevated details within the fabrication and a modern cut, with footwear following in the same footsteps thanks to open toe designs and calculated perforations. Bags are playful to stay within the relaxed vibe yet are quintessential to the summer mood that the capsule carries, with it being an extra chance to add even more colour in an inoffensive and understated manner.
