South Korean rapper G-Dragon is stepping forward as the mastermind behind one of the sneaker world’s more divisive shoes, the PEACEMINUSONE x Nike Kwondo 1 “Panda”, with this latest release finally receiving a release date.
Having previously dropped the PEACEMINUSONE x Nike Kwondo 1 in a triple white colourway, the smart-casual shoe makes its bold return with a monochromatic “Panda” colour scheme, adding fuel to the ongoing flames around black and white colourways on sneakers. However, with this pair there is a definite switch up from Nike, adding playful twists to this low-lying sneaker through a more formal approach. This tuxedo-esque shoe features a plain white base as well as all-black leather overlays, wing-tip toe boxes, signature Nike Swooshes and PEACEMINUSONE floral heel graphics, thick lace shrouds and bottoms, with a solid dose of PEACEMINUSONE branding arriving on the previously mentioned lace shrouds as well.
The PEACEMINUSONE x Nike Kwondo 1 “Panda” is set for release on April 11th via the PEACEMINUSONE website.
