Genre-less Portland icon Aminé has stepped forward with sportswear giants New Balance to announce that he is set to collaborate with them on a 2023 sneaker release.
Having been firmly in the spotlight of late due to the release of his collaborative KAYTRAMINÉ (2023) album with none other than KAYTRANADA, Aminé has kept the hot streak going with this creatively executed announcement that he is set to debut a collaborative sneaker with New Balance. With Aminé having been unveiled as a brand ambassador back in 2022, a joint effort between the two has long been on the cards, especially with the stylistic influence Aminé has had on sneaker culture and streetwear in recent years. Following on from the likes of Jack Harlow, Action Bronson, Jaden Smith and more, Aminé’s latest venture was confirmed via a billboard in his home city of Portland, which stated “A Kid From Portland Has His Own Sneaker.” Whilst exciting, it is still unknown as to what silhouette Aminé will take on and when it will release.
