Nike & Martine Rose Call for Equality in Football with Latest Collaborative Collection

Starring Some of the World's Best.

With the Women’s World Cup right around the corner (we’re counting down the days), Nike and designer Martine Rose have teamed up once again to usher in a new era of women’s football and elevate the look of the elite game. Dissolving the boundaries of men’s and women’s plane-to-pitch styling, the collaborative collection throws all the ‘rules’ out of the window to present a range of gender-free tailored player suiting.

“I want women to feel powerful in their suits like men do. More than that, although I’m using women to tell the story, there’s no gender attached to the suit. Anyone can wear it. I hope one day we’re not talking about gender in sport and are just talking about the sport. Once everything is stripped back, it’s just the game that’s left,” said Martine Rose.

Blurring the lines between sports and fashion, the Nike x Martine Rose collection features a player’s suit jacket, trousers, trench coat, shirting, accessories, and the latest iteration of the Shox Mule MR 4 in a striking blue and purple colourway – a nod to goalkeeper jerseys of the ‘90s.

The collection will be exclusively available online from July 25th and at select specialty stores from July 27th.
