Aimé Leon Dore have often stuck to what they know when it comes to new collaborative efforts, frequently tapping the likes of New Balance and Kith for joint releases. This time around, ALD widen their scope with a new collaborative capsule with Franck Pellegrino.
Set to release tomorrow, the Aimé Leon Dore x Franck Pellegrino capsule collection follows in the footsteps of ALD’s typical design notes, with heritage preppy silhouettes and classic colour palettes keeping their place, but the Parisian multidisciplinary artist and his affection for playing with graffiti styles and visions of life also make their mark. For instance, indigo stitched denim co-ords arrive alongside baseball jerseys adorned with oversized “NY” lettering, bridging the gap between ALD’s love for the New York Yankees and Pellegrino’s left-of-centre design style, with this unisex capsule also including a co-branded denim and tan combination jacket, a multicoloured patchwork shawl, a burnet orange multi-leather tote bag, as well as a white patchwork co-ord set adorned with various nods to the city of Paris.
