Hollywood darling Timothée Chalamet took to social media yesterday to share a closer look at the extremely limited Wonka x Nike Dunk Low collaboration.
Providing a sneak peek behind-the-scenes of Nike HQ in Beaverton, Oregon, Chalamet gave sneaker heads across the globe a new discussion point as he continues to promote his latest movie, Wonka, which is set to arrive next week. Being limited to a run of only five pairs, the Wonka x Nike Dunk Low very much looks the part as nods to the much-loved Willy Wonka character are seen all over this pair, from the deep burgundy material seen on Wonka’s coat adorning the velvet laces, tongue, sock lining, and distressed Nike Swoosh to hits of branded stamping on the chocolate brown “W” tongue tag and 3D cloud and thunder heel. Additionally, a chocolate brown outsole keeps the pair on theme, whilst a white canvas and blue, burgundy and purple striped base base mimics the lining of Wonka’s coat, adding that extra attention to detail.
The Wonka x Nike Dunk Low is available via a giveaway that requires fans to put forward one-minute video highlighting their own work that is inspired by the lovable chocolatier.
