Often met with mixed reviews, Nike’s Jordan Brand is no stranger to blending their original silhouettes into unique sneakers. Some call them Frankenstein shoes, while others believe them to be pieces of art. Nonetheless, Jordan Brand has aptly named their latest sneaker the Jordan 2/3, splicing the 3’s ‘Air’ unit onto a pair of 2 Lows.
The shoe has been teased in two colourways, offering a vintage-style ‘Chicago’ cherry red and white along with an easily worn black and white pair. The summer-ready silhouettes have a bit of pre-yellowing, giving the shoe more of a retro appeal. With the prominence of the adidas Samba and continued domination of the Nike Dunk SB “Panda”, it’s safe to say Jordan Brand has dropped its most competitive shoe yet.
