Hip-hop hitmaker turned fashion creative Future has teamed up with Lanvin Lab for yet another joint effort.
Channeling founder Jeanne Lanvin’s love of symbolism, Lanvin Lab and Future continue their creative partnership in style with this new 2024 effort, debuting an official look at their soon-to-release range. Coming forward with a plethora of elevated essentials, this capsule captures the essences of both the formal and informal, finding a tasteful middle ground that champions everything from small leather accessories to slick prêt-à-porter garments. Doing what he does best, Future makes his imitable mark as he cultivates his own language of iconography inspired by space exploration, with one such example being his own personal eagle emblem, which ties in NASA and Pluto, a nickname of the Atlanta-born musician, with our solar system’s furthermost star.
Getting into the collection itself, the iconic Cat Bag leads the way and features custom eagle hardware, whilst printed pieces unveil an energetic take on artfully distressed denim. Putting his own spin on things once again, Future has reinterpreted typography from the house’s archive into a printed motif, whilst a new sneaker silhouette, titled the Lanvin Cash, makes its way into the range, being inspired by classic skate footwear through its robust shape and midsole unit. Lastly, pins and applique patches add extended personality to the range, being seen across various leather pieces, whilst additionally adding a sense of informality to some of the most luxe takes on signature Lanvin shapes.
