Just In Time.
Ahead of the Spring season and inevitable football fanhood traveling to Europe for the Olympics and European Championships, Umbro has collaborated with Palace on a capsule collection deeply rooted in football culture.
While Palace have remained in the limelight for the past few years, Umbro has seen a brand revival as they move towards more streetwear-oriented garments. Their collaboration with Slam Jam propelled them to social media virality just a month ago, particularly for their hooded and masked hoodies with all-over graphic branding. This collection works to change customers’ perceptions of Umbro as they move away from performance goods, offering vintage takes on staple footballing iconography. The capsule includes a worn-in navy jumper, a matching warm-up style track jacket, and an influx of kits. The latter are two-designed on two ends of the spectrum, with one coming in a classic white home style variant while the others take a streetwear approach in bright colourways, featuring a female face graphic.
Umbro and Palace’s collection has a to-be-determined release date, so be sure to check up on PAUSE for the latest scoop. In the meantime, continue below to check out some official campaign imagery.
