424 are having their moment and it only looks set to continue, with the multifaceted boutique-turned-fashion outfit teasing a new adidas collaboration.
Arriving through their public voice and founder – Guillermo Andrade – the latest creative endeavour between adidas and 424 follows on from their recent efforts, including a joint three-way collaboration with Premier League-leading Arsenal. After having had the spotlight shone on them from above, most notably through Ye and his recent public looks, 424 are looking to capitalise on their time in the limelight as a new adidas footwear collaboration is put forward for the first time. Arriving in the form of an unidentified adidas footwear model, the low-lying silhouette looks to be the sportswear giant’s iconic Samba silhouette, with a black and red branded “424” flap tongue working to instil a bold yet sleek dose of brand identity. For the rest of the pair, a relatively simple black and white colour scheme joins the signature dose of 424 red, whilst a darkened gum sole ensures adidas’ signatures keep their spot.
