Life after Matthew M. Williams continues for Givenchy as the French fashion house step forward with their new “Effortless Elegance” menswear collection.
Championing adaptability here, Givenchy recognise the ever-present need for flexibility in any high-fashion wardrobe as preppy and smart-casual stylings continue to find their way into the everyday rotation, with the heritage outfit putting slouchy yet luxurious silhouettes on top here. Most recently seen in their FW24′ collection, it looks as though the post-Williams era will look to Givenchy’s tailoring roots for inspiration as this newest effort aligns with the fashion house’s latest runway effort, with everything from button-down shorts, suits, utility jackets, and spacious knitwear to elevated straight-leg trousers, bomber jackets, tracksuit bottoms, and overcoats leading the way. This chic theme continues through basic shades of blue, navy, khaki green, sand, white, grey, and black, all of which match up in blocked ensembles of tailored Givenchy classics.
