A Bubbly Delight.
Takashi Murakami’s viral “Ohana Full-Bloom” receive a quick turnaround as the recently-debuted effort are given an official release date.
Making sure to cater to his audience, Murakami incorporates his circular floral smiley design here, utilising a large central flower across the entirety of the fun-loving pair’s frontal area. Acting as a nod to Japanese ‘otaku’ culture, Murakami’s work typically features an intense splattering of flowers in sunny colours, mimicking the variety of the rainbow, but this effort opts for an on-trend block colour as a stark green spreads itself across the frontal smiley face and the bubble design sole unit. The robust pair feature a thick riveted midsole and outsole, whilst a cushioned sock lining area features a subtle dose of embossed branding.
Takashi Murakami’s “Ohana Full-Bloom” sliders will be available to shop on April 4th via Complex.
