adidas Taps Brain Dead for a Bowling Shoe

adidas and Brain Dead have built off their friends and family collaboration from a few months ago, releasing a swapped colour blocking of their exclusive release. 

Nicknamed “Lefty,” the full-leather bowling shoe is made for performance, with the brand cautioning wearers that the shoe should be resoled or scuffed up if worn casually. An all-white leather upper is split down the middle by a black line, similar to the design found on adidas’ now-binned 11Pro football boot. Hits of cognac and off-white are seen on the laces and the sole, which features a raised heel for more revolutions on the ball when bowling. All gold branding is found on the outer heel, pairing adidas’ vintage spelled-out logo with Brain Dead’s moniker. The black heel tab also features Brain Dead’s head motif. 

The adidas x Brain Dead “Lefty” is set to release later today on the adidas website.
