A New Vision of American Luxury.
Jerry Lorenzo’s Fear of God have had a year of turning points, with this new Fall/Winter 2024 Collection 8 entry – titled “American Symphony” – truly drawing a line in the sand.
After the widely successful debut of their 10th anniversary “Collection 8” runway show back in 2023, Jerry Lorenzo’s Fear of God have followed their hearts as that cemented moment in time underpinned the rest of what was to come from the American outfit. Looking to reimagine and redefine the very essence of what American luxury is, this latest instalment of Fall/Winter 2024 looks to American cinema for inspiration as the frequently tapped Hollywood scenery gets brought back into the limelight once again, with designs exploring Native American dressing being a particular point of inspiration. Having been a consistently utilised point of reference for many designers over this past year, most notably with Pharrell Williams and Louis Vuitton, the Native American and Western cowboy heritage stylings are brought forward to the 21st century here through Fear of God’s affection for excessive layering, monochromatic ensembles, lapless overcoats, funnel neck sweaters, and rich leather looks.
Fear of God’s FW24 Collection 8 “American Symphony” collection will be available to shop on July 31st.
