Days of Summer.
Prada has always been a step ahead — with its ability to consistently deliver top collections and in the quietly radical freshness of its visual language. The brand’s latest offering comes in the form of its “Days of Summer” campaign, shot by David Sims, starring Bella Hadid, Damson Idris, Louis Partridge, and Liu Wen.
At Prada, contradiction is the point. The house has long thrived on the productive tension between opposing forces: casual and elegant, dressed and undressed, the tailored metropolis and the sun-soaked shore, and this collection is no different. What emerges are hybrids: garments that resist easy categorization, fusing references that have no obvious business being in the same room together, let alone on the same body. From the Bonnie Bag to the crochet tote, accessories follow the same logic, familiar objects reconsidered, refracted through ever-shifting perspectives. It is a deliberate exercise in holding the known up to a different light, and we know that Raf and Miuccia are experts on doing so.
