The British house brings its signature check to the French Riviera
Burberry is back with another summer lifestyle collaboration, this time heading to the South of France to partner with Hôtel Belles Rives for a seasonal takeover.
Hôtel Belles Rives remains one of the Riviera’s most iconic stays. Once home to F. Scott Fitzgerald while writing Tender is the Night, the Art Deco hotel is now being partially taken over by the British fashion house’s signature check print, reimagining its beach club and terrace spaces for Summer ’26. The activation arrives alongside Burberry’s High Summer 2026 collection, featuring check swimwear and nautical-inspired motifs rooted in the brand’s history of yachting apparel.
For the collaboration, Burberry reworks its signature check in the hotel’s distinctive Riviera blue, appearing across the property from the beach club and private jetty to the original 1920s lift interiors. Guests can also expect branded
experiences throughout the summer, including water skiing sessions in the bay, as well as Burberry ice lollies served on the terrace and curated cocktails at the Fitzgerald Bar.
Running until 30th September 2026, the takeover marks Burberry’s latest move in destination-led luxury, once again bringing fashion, travel and hospitality together on the Mediterranean.
